“The camera doesn’t make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But, you have to SEE.” – Ernst Haas
To me photography is a way to see deeply and to find and connect those elements which apparently seem disconnected. The need to create photographs is to see those elusive connections which make any mundane scene special, to follow those invisible lines which hold and create the story. I have been photographing for the last 2 decades and throughout my photographic journey my attempt has been only to deepen the act of seeing. When faced with a complex subject the attempt has been to simplify by being aware of the parts but never losing sight of the whole.
“We must avoid however, snapping away, shooting quickly and without thought, overloading ourselves with unnecessary images that clutter our memory and diminish the clarity of the whole.” - Henri Cartier Bresson
